Egypt’s Hamaki Sings For The African Handball Confederation (CAHB)

Hamaki, the Egyptian pop star likes to play soccer, he really does and he often pals around with other nationally recognized soccer players in Egypt. So singing for his favorite team comes natural to him as he enjoys the game, not just watching but also kicking the ball around the field. It helps that he is in shape for it. Hamaki roots for the red team “Al ahly” which seems to enjoy the bigger fan base.

But this time he did sing a song but for another sport, Handball which is having its tournament in chaotic Egypt at the moment. The 22nd African tournament was held in between January 21 and the 31, and the Egyptian team took home the cup and qualified to compete in Rio De Janeiro later this year.

The is the song Hamaki sang in the closing ceremony. The song does have some African Lyrics (By Jessy) English & French Lyrics (by Sally Shouma) Arabic lyrics (By Ameer Teama) This is a mixed bag of a song, there is propaganda in it. The music is so tried…but still this is a good attempt at making s port song that appeals to non Arabs.

Hamaki – Helm Ghaly / حماقي – حلم غالي
