Loai, the skinny Egyptian pop star whose career was at its finest in between 2002 to 2006 has been struggling really hard to make a comeback. So far he has not been able to release an album due to something beyond his control.
See, Loai got himself a contract with Pyrmedia production company headed by Richard El Haj. Loai did record an album, but then a public feud that has been brewing for years was well known and this collaboration did not see the light. That was too messy, Loai left the company and left behind an album he recorded for the label. The album has not been heard or released yet.
Loai signed in 2012 with Mazzika, a big production house that knows good music and Loai is a winner, so they recorded an album that should be coming out in few weeks. The draft album has been submitted to the music commission for clearance.
Despite his wishes, Nova Records released a single from the unreleased album while Loai is working on his other album. This has been a bitter dispute. I am certain they had their creative and financial differences. Richard wants to release the songs of the album as singles on a number of variety and mixed albums to help market some of the young talents,.
