Artist Hassan El Shaei who is also a music producer, a comp[oser and the main driving force behind The Basement Records keep doing Arabic music with a fresh set of eyes. The musically inspiring young and trend-setting artist dropped another creative raw musical experience. But this time instead of partnering with a popular Arab vocalist, he opts to be accompanied by violinist Mohamed Medhat.
They chill together and have a musical conversation among friends. It’s a pretty bold from an artist who always seeks to present new works that connect with different audiences. I must say this is a very nice collaboration that shows both artists mastering their tool of trade and delivering something entertaining and interesting. Despite the lack of lyrics, there is an amazing musical experience to be had with real emotions. Medhat sort of battles Hassan and it all serves the song’s vibe and keeps the focus on the music and those who make it. Perhaps what’s great about this video and the music is that you need not worry about a language, it’s universal in its essence.
What impresses me about Hassan is that he is music smart and is cultured about this language and keeps his skills into cutting-edge level.
